What is VAT and when is it due? VAT is chargeable if it meets the following criteria:

VAT is applicable at the standard rate, 20%, on our services should the criteria be met. If VAT is due on any disbursements, we will inform you prior to agreeing on the fee.

Our Fees:

Our firm only charge fixed fee, however, if we may quote you our fee on hourly rate basis then, our calculation will be based on the following hourly rates as per the experience of the professional working on your matter.

Experience and Qualification

We may quote a fixed fee based on our hourly fee earner hourly rates based on an approximation of the number of hours. Generally, it takes between 4-8 hours of work to complete a general application, however this varies. This means that on average costs are between £500 and £6,000 depending on the application.

Disbursements and Additional Costs: At Lexmark Legal, it’s important to note that our fixed fees and hourly rates do not cover certain expenses known as disbursements.

Moreover, depending on the particulars of your case, you may incur extra charges related to barrister services, expert reports, interpreter services, and court fees.

Furthermore, we offer the option to request additional disbursements, including interpreter fees and expert reports, which might be necessary depending on the unique circumstances of your case.

When determining the overall cost for your case, we take into account various factors, such as the evidence you provide and the complexity of your situation. If you have all the required information readily available, this could potentially lead to a more cost-effective fee within the lower range of our fixed fees.
