The Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme (IAAS) covers all immigration and asylum advice and services work. Members will have shown, to the satisfaction of the Law Society, that they have and will maintain a high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice in the area of immigration and asylum law, be that in private practice or working for an organisation regulated by the Office for the Legal Services Commissioner.

Academics, non-governmental organisations and individuals with a substantial interest in the law are also members.
